  Yesterday I bought a few items in your store. I also wanted some Lotto tickets.The female clerk at the front counter rang up my store items, then proceeded with the Lotto. I asked if she had a "Ruby" ticket because there were none under the glass. "I'll have to order them", she said. I asked, "Pardon - you have to order them?" Thinking of course that she meant order them from some other store - I was perplexed to say the least. Then she called a male clerk over and asked him to get her a few Ruby tickets. She then told me I would need to wait until he came back. In the meantime she started ringing up another customer's (many) items. I stood aside and waited. The male clerk came back with the tickets and set them down beside her till, there was no one at the second till; but he did not offer to help me there. After several more moments of waiting, there was a line-up of customers at that one till, so the male clerk came back and said, "I can help some people here". I was still standing there waiting for my ticket and he knew it - but still he did not offer to sell me my ticket. So another customer went to his till before I could get there. At that point I walked over to his side thinking he could take me next. I glanced down and saw that there were my requested Ruby tickets at his counter. So I said to the female clerk, "The ticket I wanted is right here at this till". She said, "I know, but we are not allowed to sell each other's tickets". Again, I asked, "Pardon"? She gave me an "annoyed" look and said, "We can only sell the tickets we have at our own tills". As she was just finished with her customer, I once again walked to her till. But, then the customer decided she wanted some Lotto tickets - so with me still standing there waiting for my one ticket - she totally ignored me and began getting tickets for that lady. I didn't say a word; but I did notice that the male clerk was just finished with his customer - so once again I went back to his till and asked, "Do you think I might be able to buy my ticket now?" He looked rather sheepish - and I said, "This is the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time and I won't soon forget it." He could have helped me the moment he came back with the tickets for the other clerk - he knew I was waiting for one - but he didn't. Then, when he opened his till, he could have offered to help me then - he didn't. When I asked for a "Ruby" ticket and the female clerk COULD NOT take one from his counter - why didn't he just say, "Come to my counter and I'll get you one"??? Nope, nada, nothing - just stand there and wait until such time as we might get to you - you really are quite a nuisance!

  Excellent choice for your pharmaceuticals. A good loyalty program, too. Staff are helpful with a smile.
